Baker Tilly Staples Rodway voted one of NZ’s top employers

We’ve been named Number 26 on a list of New Zealand’s top 100 grad employers. The recognition comes from Prosple – an international job platform for university students.

The position is an upwards arc from our ranking of 52 last year and Baker Tilly Staples Rodway national chair David Searle says it reflects well on our engaging, supportive and empowering culture

“We’re very focused on training and mentoring our graduates. As a network that champions great relationships, we know our people thrive when they feel happy and supported. We achieve that in multiple ways, including provision of fulfilling career opportunities, flexibility, variety, friendly office cultures and by simply treating each other well.”

A recent in-house survey found that our team members feel the word “knowledgeable” best represents our accounting and business advisory network, showing the depth of understanding that recruits can tap into throughout their learning experience. That is followed by the keywords “accountable” and “diversity”.

It’s long been noted that we have a history of promoting from within, meaning graduates also have the opportunity to reach our top levels of management as their careers progress.

“Our leaders find it deeply satisfying to assist with the development of team members,” says David. “Everyone wins when we share knowledge.”

Applications for Baker Tilly Staples Rodway’s 2025 Graduate and Internship Programmes are opening on Monday, 26 February. Click here to see our positions.

Prosple’s methodology has been refined this year to reflect not just employers’ popularity but also their quality. The ranking combines data from submitted applications, page views and graduate reviews to provide university students with an objective and comprehensive guide for their future careers.
